Wakefield Hospice is calling you and your furry friends to sign-up for our very firstWakefield Walkies, a 3km family-friendly dog walk at Carr Lodge Park, Horbury on Sunday 11^th September 2022

We have teamed up with Barkley & Co, Wakefield for this fantastic event, inviting all dogs from Dachshunds to Dobermans to join in the fundraising fun.  

The “hospice hound parade” will set off at 11am, circling round Carr Lodge Park alongside fellow pals and their pooches. 

 After the walk you are invited to stay around to join in with more activities including: - dog show & prizes, judges, have-a-go agility sessions, food & drink, stalls & demonstration stands.

All walkers will also receive a free doggy goody bag on the day just for taking part.

ANYONE is welcome to join us for this year’s walk - whether you are a pet owner or not. But if you are bringing a playful pooch, then please keep them on a lead at all times and don't forget the waste bags!

Every penny raised will continue to provide care for our patients and families. When you book onto Wakefield Walkies you will be automatically given a fundraising page, we are asking you and your canine companions to raise a minimum of £15 sponsorship.

Parking: free parking is available in the park and on-street parking within the local area, please park mindfully of local residents.
