Swim Serpentine is the famous one-day open water swimming festival that takes place in the heart of London. Organised by London Marathon Events, the festival is held in and around the beautiful Serpentine in Hyde Park, which was the venue for the open water swimming competition at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

You could take on either the Half Mile or the Two Mile challenge, all whilst raising awareness of debilitating migraine and vital funds to help us to support anyone affected.

Half Mile

This popular Swim Serpentine event takes in half a lap of the world-famous lake in London’s Hyde Park. It's the perfect option if you’re looking to complete an achievable but memorable swim at your own pace, or making the transition from the pool to open water!

Two Mile

If you’re a more experienced open water swimmer who is keen to take on a challenge within the beautiful grounds of Hyde Park, the two-mile distance is for you! This event will see you swim two full laps of the Serpentine lake, making it the ideal option if you've already completed a one-mile swim outdoors and are looking to build on your distance.

The Migraine Trust is dedicated to helping people affected by migraine. We are the only UK migraine charity providing information and support, campaigning for awareness and change, and funding and promoting research.

One in seven people in the UK live with migraine, and this complex and debilitating neurological disorder significantly affects their lives. We have been leading and bringing the migraine community together to change this since 1965.

Every year over two million people visit our website and thousands contact our helplines for information and support on all aspects of migraine and for help in managing it at work, in education, and in accessing healthcare.

We campaign for increased awareness and understanding of migraine, and national policy change to improve the lives of people who get it.
