Celebrate and remember this December
As we approach the festive season and spend time with our families and friends, those who have died are never far from our thoughts. You’re invited to join us to celebrate and remember our loved ones who are no longer with us. Through readings, quiet reflection and the lighting of candles, we hope our uplifting services will remind you of good times and bring you comfort, hope and peace.
Join us in person at 2pm on 4th December at Hickstead Showground for our Lights of Love service. You’ll have the opportunity to light a candle in memory of a loved one and after the service, stay and enjoy a hot drink and mince pie. Send us a photo of your loved one and we will share it during the service - it could be a favourite of the person you’re remembering or one of you together. Please email a copy to [email protected].
We also understand that some people would prefer to celebrate their loved ones from the comfort of their own home, so we will be producing a Lights of Love video which will go live on the 11th of December. We will record the service and upload it online for free so that you and your family can watch it together and celebrate your loved ones in your own special way. We’ll also send an exclusive Lights of Love box to the first 50 people that make a donation of £19 or more. This will include an order of service, a special hospice candle, a diary, a Christmas decoration and a little festive treat.
