Let’s talk about suicide

Join us for one of our online sessions where we’ll be discussing how we talk about suicide, why it matters, why we need to talk more and we'll share tips to encourage open and honest conversations.

We’ll also have a sneak preview of our soon to be released, updated 20minute Suicide Awareness Training.

We’ll be running a morning session and an afternoon session on:

  • Morning session: 10.30am to 11.30am
  • Afternoon session: 1.30 to 2.30pm

This year the International Association for Suicide Prevention chose the theme of changing the narrative of suicide as the theme for World Suicide Prevention Day on Tuesday 10 September. These sessions support the international discussions taking place.

The Zero Suicide Alliance (ZSA) is a UK based initiative hosted by Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust and funded through Mersey Cares NHS Charity.

Believing that one life lost to suicide is one too many, the ZSA aims to empower, educate, and equip individuals and organisations to take action to help prevent suicide.
