The biggest women’s event in Bath is back again! Join Dorothy House to celebrate, remember, and support your community on Saturday 17 June for our 5km Midnight Walk.

Come together with friends, mothers, daughters, aunts, grandmas and sisters for a great night of walking, talking and dancing, and help raise much-needed funds in the process.

Get into the carnival spirit with glitter, feathers, sequins…anything that makes you smile and shine! Perhaps personalise one of our official event t-shirts, or upcycle something from one of our Dorothy House shops. 

Our legendary Midnight Walk for women aged 12+, starts at the Bath Pavilion. Arrive anytime from 10pm to enjoy drinks, food, fun, laughter, games, purchase some event merchandise and take part in a funky warm-up with Cheryl Sprinkler, from Mojo Moves. At midnight, the countdown will set everyone off on the 5km walk across the city, where you’ll take in the beautiful sites of Bath at night. Finish with party celebrations at the Pavilion until 2am, and then head home happy and proud of the amazing difference you will have made.

Women’s Midnight Walk 2023 – Terms and Conditions

Participants must be aged 12 or over on Saturday 17 June 2023.

Online entry will close at 4pm on Friday 16 June 2023. Places are strictly limited so registration on the night may not be possible.

No dogs permitted.

The non-refundable entry fee is to cover the cost of administration and resources for the event and entitles each walker to a free drink on entrance.

All participants are expected to raise sponsorship - a minimum of £50 (or £25 for under 18s) - or make a personal donation in lieu of sponsorship.

All entrants aged under 16 must be accompanied by an adult entrant.

Sensible footwear must be worn and care taken.

Places limited to 800 walkers.

If you have a medical condition which could be affected by exercise, please obtain your doctor’s approval before participation.

You enter the walk at your own risk and should not take part unless medically fit to walk 5k and complete the distance within two hours.

We reserve the right to withdraw marshalling for any participants who take over three hours to complete the course.

Entrants are responsible for making their own way home after the walk. Please remember that this will be between 1am and 2am and public transport will not be available. Dorothy House staff cannot arrange transport.

Dorothy House may take photographs of the event and use them in publicity material, including on its website.  If you do not want your photograph to be used, please contact the Dorothy House Fundraising Team

By entering the event you agree to follow the reasonable directions of Dorothy House, the event marshals and abide by the Terms and Conditions of entry for the Midnight Walk.

All participants walk at their own risk.

While all reasonable action has been taken by Dorothy House to ensure the safety of participants, the charity cannot be held accountable for any injury, loss or damage sustained during this event.

In the unlikely event that we do need to cancel the event, you will be notified by email.

If we are unable to re-arrange the Women’s Midnight Walk event for another date, we will contact you about refund options.
