The ultimate challenge is here!

Join #TeamMagpas and take to skies for a memorable 10 minute flight of pure adrenaline. Reaching epic speeds of up to130mph, zooming across the skies with low passes, twist and climbs over head of your friends and family below.

Before your flight, the team will provide a comprehensive ground safety briefing, after which, you will need to sign a fitness/waiver declaration. Once strapped in to the 5 point harness system, you will then take to the skies!

Whatever your motive, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to challenge yourself and push your self-belief to the limit! Not only that, but by taking on the challenge for Magpas Air Ambulance, you'll be helping to keep us flying and saving lives in your community.

 

DETAILS:

Wing walk challenge cost: £500 (£100 deposit £400 to paid in full by 18th June 2024)

Fundraising target: £350

As a Magpas Air Ambulance Wing Walk participant you’ll receive:

  • Free Magpas Air Ambulance bespoke t-shirt

  • A comprehensive ground safety briefing
  • Goggles and ear plugs to wear during your wing walk

Please note there are a few restrictions that come with taking part in this Wing Walk, but you can sign up today as long as you are…

  • Under 85kg (13st 4lbs)
  • Able to climb via the lower wing and front cockpit without a ladder to reach the wing walking rig/seat, approximately 10 feet.
  • At least 18-years-old. (If older than 65 you will require a doctor’s signature confirming your fitness to participate in this experience)

The conditions listed below will need to your GP’s approval to be able to participate:- Epilepsy, fits, severe head or neck injury, recurrent blackouts, fainting fits or giddiness, disease of the brain or nervous system, high blood pressure, heart or lung disease, recurrent weakness or dislocation of any limb, diabetes (type 1), mental illness, drug or alcohol addiction.
