Is there an age limit?

To complete the Whiston Hospital Abseil, participants must be at least 12 years old. Participants under 18 years old will require parental consent.  There is no upper age limit as long as you are fit and healthy.

Is there a height or weight limit?

There is no weight or height restriction, but please note that the harness has a maximum waist circumference of 125cm and maximum leg circumference of 82cm. If you are pregnant, unfortunately you cannot take part in the abseil. 

What should I wear?

You must wear sensible, comfortable clothing and footwear. We would recommend wearing sportswear (i.e. gym leggings, tracksuit bottoms).

Fancy Dress

Fancy dress is allowed but please ensure no loose items i.e. capes etc
