Wedding Day 7K (WD7K) 2026

This is the 44th running of this really friendly and fun event which started back in 1981 to celebrate the Royal Wedding of Charles and Diana. All proceeds of this race goes to our chosen charities; Purple Elephant and Companion Cycling.

The Wedding Day 7K is organised by The Stragglers Running Club in accordance with the rules and regulations of UK Athletics and held under an appropriate event licence issued by England Athletics (UKA 2026 Race Licence No: #30792). The Event is covered by the public liability insurance provided through the UK Athletics licence scheme. All participants must comply with the competition rules of UK Athletics and any instructions issued by race officials, marshals, or the race organisers.
