Wear Red for Wales is BACK for a special week-long celebration!
We are delighted to announce that WEAR RED is BACK for it’s fifth year and promises to be the most extraordinary celebration yet! After experiencing our most difficult year so far as a Charity, we wanted to pull out all the stops to make this an extra-special year so have welcomed the support of our Trust partners, The Welsh Blood Service to create… Wear Red for Wales!
This year, we will be hosting a week-long celebration coinciding with the 2021 European Championships and World Blood Donor Day. This is an opportunity to be more patriotic than ever before as we champion the Welsh football team in the Euros, help raise awareness of blood donation in Wales and of course raise vital funds for Wales’ premier Cancer Centre, Velindre.
How to get involved:
To get involved in this event you simply have to Wear Red and Donate £1 to Velindre. You can register as an individual, family, school or organisation and you can sign up today by clicking the button below. If you would like to go the extra mile, you can take on your own challenge or activity and invite friends and family to sponsor you!
You can choose a single day within the week to host your celebration or challenge or why not take on a week-long activity to show your support for Velindre, Welsh Blood and the Welsh football team.
You can also show your support by donating blood to The Welsh Blood Service who actively help support our patients and families.
