Walk 100 Miles in September for Childhood Cancer Awareness
1 September 2025 - 30 September 2025
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness and rallying support for the fight against childhood cancers.
Walk 100 miles this September in honour of the 100 children diagnosed with neuroblastoma each year.
Neuroblastoma is an aggressive childhood cancer. In the UK, around 100 children are diagnosed every year and around 50% of children with high-risk neuroblastoma will relapse. This September, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we’re asking you to walk 100 miles in honour of each child affected.
Neuroblastoma is responsible for 15% of all childhood cancer deaths. Even for those who survive, the journey is far from over - many face lifelong complications such as hearing loss, infertility, and other serious health issues. We can only change this through research.
Your steps can make a difference. By joining the challenge, you’re not only raising vital awareness but also helping to fund groundbreaking research into more effective treatments, and, one day, a cure.
To help us make the biggest impact possible, we’re encouraging every participant to set a fundraising target of at least £150.
