Suicide or Survive are delighted to be in a position to offer the WRAP Seminar One workshop online in partnership with the Copeland Centre. 

Course Description: 
This online educational course is for anyone who wants to learn about WRAP® and begin to incorporate it into their life to improve personal wellness and achieve an improved quality of life. This workshop is designed to be highly interactive and encourage participation and sharing from all present. This workshop also lays a broad foundation for building a peer workforce.

Course meets in live online sessions and requires work inbetween sessions. This class fullfils the prerequisites for being trained as a WRAP Facilitator.

You will receive a copy of the WRAP Plus book as part of the programme, this book will be posted to the address you provide at time of registration

Places are limited to 15 people

Thanks to our funders in the National Office of Suicide Prevention (NOSP) we are able to bring this course to the public online with a minimal cost to the learner.

  • Friday 4th February 10am to 12.30pm
  • Friday 11th February 10am to 12.30pm
  • Friday 18th February 10am to 12.30pm
  • Friday 25th February 10am to 12.30pm

 

 

Imporant

Full attendance is required for all 4 sessions, if a session is missed you will not be able to complete the remainder of the programme and will not receive certification. Please note that no catch up sessions will be offered.  If you think that you cannot commit to all 4 dates and times please check other available dates on our website that may suit you better. 

Learning Objectives

Through participation in these workshops people will be able to:
• Apply Key Concepts of Recovery into their every day life to improve their quality of life.
• Identify tools and action plans to counter the negative effects of life challenges and improve responses to disturbing thoughts and feelings to achieve improved states of wellness.
• Describe the history, foundations and structure of the Wellness Recovery Action Plan®.
