The Event is a sprint triathlon with a swim of 400m a 14K bike ride and a 5K run. The swim is in the pool. The bike ride offers an easier ride on the way out but a gradual rise in the road on the way back makes the ride more challenging.
For the children there is a swim and run - for those aged 8 a 50m swim and 500m run, for the 9-10 year olds a 150m swim and 1000m runner, for those in 11-12 age group a 200m swim and 1500 run, for 13-14 year olds a 300m swim and 2000m run.
The Leisure Centre has a coffee bar to support the early start and once the event has finished the Centre offers lots of activities from rock climbing, swimming badminton and squash
