Step up and join the crew this autumn!

This September, The AHOY Centre invites you to take part in The Thames Loop—a fundraising walk like no other. Led by our water sports crew and fundraisers, you’ll be guided along the Thames on one of two scenic routes, packed with local insight, great company, and plenty of fun along the way.

Whether you’re walking with friends, colleagues, or going solo, every step you take will support a powerful cause. Expect unforgettable views, a warm team spirit, and the immense satisfaction of making a real difference.

Whilst we are sure this will be a thoroughly enjoyable day, the true aim is to raise money for a fantastic cause, therefore we ask participants to pay a registration fee of £15 and commit to fundraising a minimum of £60.

We are excited to offer two scenic routes along the Thames Path, both starting and finishing at The AHOY Centre near Greenwich.

The Yellow Route is a 5-mile walk beginning in Greenwich, crossing the Thames at Surrey Quays by boat before looping back via the historic Greenwich Foot Tunnel.

The Red Route is a 10-mile route along the Thames Path, also starting and finishing at The AHOY Centre. This longer walk crosses the river at Tower Bridge before returning through the Greenwich Foot Tunnel.

Both routes will reveal a side of the Thames you may never have experienced before, taking you past iconic landmarks while hearing stories and insights from our experienced delivery team along the way.
