On behalf of The Rotunda Hospital we look forward to welcoming you to the Round Room at The Mansion House on Friday 20th October at 12.30pm.

As a team based in the heart of Dublin City, treating women of all ages and stages of their reproductive lives, we are hosting “The Mind Event; a Fundraising Event for Women’s Mental Wellbeing” #mindyourself

We understand that people need emotional support at various times during their lives and, as the largest provider of women’s health services in Ireland, we have a unique opportunity to have a positive influence in so many lives and in so many ways. We see ourselves as being a force for good, whether it is caring for women during pregnancy, or during their teenage years or later in their lives when other stressful situations can occur.

Our aim is to provide state-of-the-art evaluation and ongoing care for women who suffer from a spectrum of mental health problems. For example the perinatal mental health service at the Rotunda cares for more than 1,500 women each year. We seek to improve the care of both patients and their families at the Rotunda and to provide more services in the community to increase convenience and accessibility.

The Charity Lunch will commence at 12.30pm, with a drink’s reception and music by Robbie Doyle. Professor Sean Daly, Master of the Rotunda, will introduce our MC for the afternoon at 1.15pm. On the day we will hear staff from the teenage, fertility, perinatal mental health and menopause teams explain their various services and how they care for women in very different circumstances, with very different clinical needs. We will also have a short video from patients who will share their journeys and experiences with you.

We look forward to welcoming you on the day and hope that you will support this very important initiative.
