Returning on Saturday 20th June 2026 with a 10am start time, the race has one of the most picturesque routes in the area, taking runners through woodland and across fields as they make their way around the beautiful Chiltern hills surrounding The Misbourne in Great Missenden. It is known to be a fairly challenging race with a number of hills and varied terrain, which makes it a firm favourite with local runners and running clubs.
There will be medals for all finishers in the 5k and 10k as well as prizes for main race winners, category winners, and Misbourne students. The race is run under UK Athletics rules in line with the Trail Running Association health and safety recommendations.
We are proud to be an environmentally-friendly race with no single-use plastic at the event.
New for 2026: Schools' team 5k race
All students entering the 5k race will be automatically entered into the schools' team race by recording the name of their school in the entry page. The first five entrants from a school to cross the finishing line will constitute the school team. Teams will be separated into boys' and girls' teams. Students must be aged between 12-18 on race day to compete in the students' 5km race.
