Returning on Saturday 18th June 2022 with start times from 10:00am, the race has one of the most picturesque routes in the area, taking runners through woodland and across fields as they make their way around the beautiful Chiltern hills surrounding The Misbourne School in Great Missenden. It is known to be a fairly challenging race with a number of hills and varied terrain, which makes it a firm favourite with local runners and running clubs.
There will be medals for all finishers in the 5k and 10k as well as prizes for main race winners, category winners, and Misbourne students. The race is run under UK Athletics rules in line with the Trail Running Association health and safety recommendations.
This year we are looking at ways to run a more environmentally-friendly race with no single-use plastic at the event.
Any entrants from the aborted races in 2020 and 2021 will have their entries automatically transferred over to this years event.
