The Mini Mendip took place on Sunday 6 September and saw over 300 people take to the Somerset countryside and challenging themselves by taking on an adapted version of Weston Hospicecare’s flagship event The Mendip Challenge.
The 10-mile Mini Mendip route started at Weston Cricket Club before travelling along the stunning Brean Down Way to the turnaround point in Brean, before heading back to the cricket club via the Old Church of St Nicholas with breath-taking views across Weston-super-Mare and The Mendip Hills.

The Mendip Challenge traditionally brings in over £85,000 every year, supporting local families going through one of the toughest times of their lives. It is the hope of the hospice that The Mini Mendip will help to bridge some of the gap in a year where we have faced unprecedented challenges, and you can be part of it!
Weston Hospicecare has had official sign-off for The Mini Mendip from North Somerset Council, independent Health and Safety bodies, and insurers.
