The Mile Between Us Cup 2026
The City Football Tournament in support of Providence Row in Partnership with Eastern Cit BID
On Friday 17th July 2026, 20 corporate teams from across the City will come together at Shoreditch Powerleague for a day of football, networking, fundraising and social impact. We're delighted to open this invite to teams of all genders, abilities and ages and with a warm welcome to spectators, family, friends and colleagues to support alongside our competing sides.
After two successful years of the MarComms Cup, The Mile Between Us Cup is evolving into a bigger City-wide tournament — bringing together businesses, occupiers, partners and professionals from across London for one shared purpose:
To help tackle homelessness just one mile from the City.
The tournament is proudly delivered in partnership with and supported by Eastern City BID, helping bring together businesses and communities from across the Square Mile through sport, connection and social impact.
A mile apart. A world of difference.
The tournament will feature:
- 20 corporate teams
- Group stages and knockout rounds
- Cup and Plate competitions
- Trophies, awards and networking
- Fundraising challenges and team leaderboards
Whether you are playing to win, building team culture, entertaining clients or simply supporting an important cause, every team taking part will help fund Providence Row’s frontline services for people experiencing homelessness in East London, the City, and neighbouring boroughs.
Why It Matters
Homelessness across London continues to rise.
Thousands of people remain hidden in temporary accommodation, unsafe housing, sofa surfing situations or sleeping rough across the capital. Many are facing increasingly complex challenges involving trauma, mental health and substance misuse.
Providence Row works with some of the most vulnerable people in society, providing:
- Hot meals and essential support
- Advice and outreach services
- Health and wellbeing programmes
- Recovery and psychotherapy support
- Employment and progression pathways
- Routes away from homelessness and towards independence
Last year alone Providence Row:
- Supported more than 1,200 people
- Delivered over 11,000 meals
- Delivered almost 25,000 interventions
- Helped people into employment, recovery and stable housing
Every pound raised through The Mile Between Us Cup helps create opportunities, safety and lasting change.
