We are delighted to announce that The Haven’s Festive Hamper Raffle is back for another year!

The specially selected prizes we have put together will make a great gift for someone during the festive period, or as a lovely treat for yourself to enjoy.

We’re thrilled to present three incredible prizes:

  • 1st Prize: Festive Food Hamper - a selection of delicious festive goodies including: traditional festive cake; biscuits; oatcakes; condiments; sweet treats; savoury snacks; cheeses; chocolates; wine; and much, much more!
  • 2nd Prize: Coffee Hampercomplete with a DOLCE GUSTO by De'longhi coffee machine and a selection of compatable coffee pods
  • 3rd Prize: Cocktail Hamper - a beautiful selection of everything you need for the perfect cocktail night including: vodka, gin, prosecco, cocktail syrups, cocktail shaker and glasses

The lucky winner will be required to collect their prize from one of The Haven centres - Blantyre, Wishaw, or Forth. Prior arrangements must be made to coordinate collections dates and times.

Best of all, every ticket sold supports The Haven by raising vital funds.

How does it work?

Tickets cost just £2.00 each and you can purchase as many as you like by clicking the 'Register' button below. You will then proceed to select the number of tickets you wish to purchase. Tickets are available to purchase until Monday 16th December 2024, 12noon, and the lucky winners will be drawn and contacted on this date also.

Why It Matters

Between April 2023 and March 2024, The Haven supported a total of 520 individual clients - a 56% increase on the year previous. Since April this year, we have supported a total of 301 individual clients, highlighting the ongoing and increasing demand for services. 

Haven services aim to reduce the emotional distress caused by the diagnosis of illness, caring responsabilities and being bereaved of a loved one. 

Support from the local community is crucial in sustaining and devloping responsive services to meet the emotional and mental wellbeing needs of Haven clients. Your support will help ensure that those who need Haven support are able to access services when they need them most. 

All proceeds from The Haven’s Festive Hamper Raffle will contribute directly to supporting families affected by life-limiting illness and bereavement who need our help.

These terms and conditions refer to online entry to our raffle.

Eligibility 

  • To purchase raffle tickets, entrants must be residents of the United Kingdom and be 18 years of age or over. 
  • Tickets cannot be sold to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18 years. 
  • The Haven reserves the right to carry out age verification checks.
  • If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18 he/she/they will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit his/her/their prize.
  • All winners are required to provide proof of age if requested.

Ticket Purchase 

  • Tickets are available to purchase from Tuesday 19th November 2024, 4pm
  • Ticket sales will close on Monday 16th December 2024, 12noon.
  • The cost of each ticket entry into The Haven’s Festive Hamper Raffle is 2.00GBP.
  • You must purchase a minimum of 1 ticket to be entered into the raffle draw.
  • There is no maximum amount of tickets entrants can purchase.
  • Payment to enter the raffle must be made in advance of the draw date. 
  • Tickets are only available online.
  • Postal and telephone payment for raffle tickets is not permitted.
  • Entry to the raffle is available by purchasing tickets via Enthuse.

  • Any payment received after the draw date will be treated as a donation.
  • Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw only when the whole payment is received.
  • The Haven accepts no responsibility for any technical failure or event that may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.
  • Please keep the email receipt or allocated number as proof of purchase.
  • Any ticket entries received after the closing date may miss entry into the draw and therefore will be considered as a donation to The Haven.
  • In the event of an error, howsoever caused, whether a printing error or otherwise and whether obvious or otherwise, which affects the competition in any way, The Haven reserves the right to administer the raffle as though the error had not occurred.
  • Where The Haven deems it appropriate and/or feasible it will notify entrants of the error.
  • The charity is not responsible for any technical failures that may affect ticket purchases or the conduct of the raffle. 

Draw Date and Prize:

  • The Haven’s Festive Hamper Raffle will close on Monday 16th December 2024, 12noon.
  • The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  • There are three prizes available for this draw: 
    • 1st Prize: Festive Food Hamper
    • 2nd Prize: Coffee Hamper
    • 3rd Prize: Cocktail Hamper
  • There is no cash alternative available.

Winners:

  • A random number generator is used to select the raffle prize winner(s).
  • The Winner(s) will be contacted on Monday 16th December 2024, before 4.00pm.
  • Winner(s) will be notified by the preferred contact information provided at the time of purchase. 
  • Where The Haven is unable to contact a prize winner(s) so that a prize remains unclaimed for one month following The Haven's first attempt to notify the prize winner(s), The Haven may apply the prize as it sees fit, including re-offering the prize in future raffles.
  • Where a prize-winner is unable to claim a prize due to geographical location, with their permission The Haven will re-draw a winner for that prize. In agreeing to this, the original prize winner will forfeit the prize and will not be offered an alternative.
  • The Haven will not share information about the winner(s) on any online or offline publication.

Use of Funds:

  • All proceeds or money raised from ticket sales will go directly to support the activities of the direct services of The Haven, registered charity number SC032130.

Compliance:

  • The Haven holds the appropriate licences as required by the Gambling Commissionand South Lanarkshire Council to operate this raffle.
  • The Haven's Festive Hamper Raffle complies with Scottish gambling standards and regulations.
  • The Haven operates to the relevant legal requirements.

  • Any personal information collected during the raffle will be handled in accordance with data protection laws. 
  • Contact details will only be used for the purpose of this raffle, unless you ‘opt in’ to receive marketing updates.
