Help to honour those who died in The Falklands War in 1982 and help to support The Veterans Charity.

We are 'yomping' again from Instow Beach to RMB Chivenor to honour those who served in the South Atlantic between April and June 1982, especially the 255 UK service personnel who gave their lives during the conflict.

The route begins on the beautiful Instow Beach and from there, follows the 'Tarka Trail' (South West Coast Path) through Yelland, Fremington, Bickington, Barnstaple, Heanton and finishes at the striking memorial at RMB Chivenor.

If you are unable to join us in glorious North Devon, you can create your own 10-mile yomp instead and on Saturday 22nd June 2024, join us virtually.

Everyone who completes their yomp will receive one of our very special commemorative medals!

Please plan your virtual route carefully. There is some useful advice to be found at the link below. Please give careful consdiration to traffic and other users of your route.

* Entry for The Falklands Challenge can only be done in advance and online. No entries can be received on the day of the event.

The Veterans Charity delivers urgent support to hundreds of Veterans every year who find themselves battling dire hardship. Funds raised through our events enable us to continue meeting the rising demand for our support and to ensure we are there when needed.

We are asking participants of The Falklands Challenge to raise sponsorship as part of their participation in the event. The fundraising target is £75 and everyone who exceeds their target will receive a FREE VC Hoodie in a colour and size of their choice, as a thank you from us!
