The Mourne Runners club was born in the South East of the Mournes in the shadow of Binnian. This year we invite you to visit our homeland for a race over two of the granite monuments: Lamagan and Binnian.

The Route

Start: Black Gate on Carrick Lane (344 228)

Checkpoint 1: Lower Cove Gap (334 261).

Checkpoint 2: Lamagan Cove Track Junction (331 267)

Checkpoint 3: Lamagan Summit (328 260).

Checkpoint 4: Binnian Summit (321 235)

Finish: Black Gate on Carrick Lane (344 228)

There is a trail that runs around most of this race, but it is up to runners whether they follow it, or not. There is no prescribed route but participants must visit all of the checkpoints.
