Terms and Conditions of The Big Tackle 2025 - Volunteers

Volunteer Briefing
I will watch the volunteer briefing video or attend any pre-event briefings provided.

Event Information
I will read all the provided information, including my role description, manual handling guidelines, and safeguarding information, to fully understand my responsibilities.

Mobile Communication
I understand that I must have a mobile phone with sufficient calling credit or minutes with me during the event to stay in contact with the Rowcroft Events Team.

Change of Circumstances
I will promptly notify the Rowcroft Events Team of any changes to my circumstances that may affect my ability to volunteer.

Expenses and Refreshments
I understand that Rowcroft Hospice is unable to reimburse any expenses but will provide refreshments during my volunteering shift. If I have any dietary requirements it is recommended that I bring my own food.

Health and Fitness
I confirm that I am in reasonable health and fitness to undertake the volunteering role I have been assigned.

Health Disclosure
I agree to inform Rowcroft Hospice of any health conditions, disabilities, or other factors that may impact my ability to volunteer safely.

Liability
I acknowledge that Rowcroft Hospice is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to me or my property during The Big Tackle, unless caused by the negligence of Rowcroft Hospice, its employees, or agents.

Emergency Contact
I understand that I MUST provide emergency contact details for someone who is not participating in the event to confirm my volunteering role.

Safeguarding
I agree to follow all safeguarding policies provided to me and report any concerns immediately to the Rowcroft Events Team.

Punctuality and Commitment
I will arrive on time for my volunteer shift and commit to fulfilling my assigned duties to the best of my ability.

Conduct
I agree to refrain from consuming recreational drugs or alcohol while volunteering at the event. I understand that inappropriate behavior may result in me being asked to leave the event.

Media Consent
I give permission for Rowcroft Hospice to use any photographs or video footage taken of me during the event for future promotional purposes.
