Be a legend and join The Big Tackle! 

Our much-loved fundraising walk ‘The Big Tackle’ is back for 2024! We’d love you to join this fun and lively eight-mile sponsored walk around Torbay on Saturday 9 March 2024. 

The Big Tackle is filled with all the elements of a perfect day out: spectacular scenery, hot pasties, Six Nations Rugby and free beer!  And it’s all for the worthwhile cause of raising vital funds for your local hospice. 

The day starts at 10:30am at Torquay Rugby Club where you’ll set off for your eight-mile walk, and you’ll be welcomed back to the club after with a beer and a pasty and the screening of the Six Nations Rugby.

On the day entries will be available, these are charged at £60.00 per adult (aged 18 and over) and £40.00 for under-18s. The original ticket price is within this entry fee (£28.00 for adults and £20.00 for under-18) and will cover the cost of running the event. The remaining balance (£32.00 for adults and £20.00 for under-18s) will go towards helping to fund our patient care - why we run all of our events!
