Thank you so very much for choosing to run as part of TeamSSAFA in the TCS London Marathon on Sunday 27th April 2025 Please read through and tick the terms of acceptance below, this will confirm your place in the TCS London Marathon 2025, running with a SSAFA charity place.

I understand my place in the TCS London Marathon 2025 is not confirmed until I submit this form and pay the non- refundable �100 registration fee *

I pledge to aim for a minimum of �2,500 in funds for SSAFA with support of materials, help and guidance provided to me by the SSAFA events team *

I understand the funds I raise will be received in full by the SSAFA national charity and used for centrally- funded projects and services *

I understand the importance of achieving my fundraising target to ensure SSAFA raises funds beyond covering the cost of my place *

I agree to aim to raise at least �1,000 of my fundraising target by 31st December 2024; �1,000 of my target before race day (27th April 2025), and the remaining �500 of my target (and any other funds raised) within 1 month following the event date. (End of May 2025) *

Gift Aid is not eligible or guaranteed on all donations. Therefore, I understand that Gift Aid will not contribute to my target* *

I will try to maximise my fundraising efforts by enquiring with my employer about 'Matched Giving'** *

I commit to proudly wearing my SSAFA running vest on race day to raise awareness for the charity *

I promise to notify SSAFA immediately in writing if I learn I will be unable to partake in the event and understand that my place can only be deferred to the following year only once. If I am unable to take part again I will have to re-apply for a place *

I understand that if I have a defer place in the following year and the fundraising target has been updated, my fundraising target will also be updated. *

I agree that any photographs taken on the day by SSAFA photographers may be used online and in print to promote future TeamSSAFA events *

I understand that SSAFA maintain the right to withdraw my place at any time should I not adhere to any of the above conditions. *

*Gift Aid

*Gift Aid is a bonus scheme to allow charities to ‘apply’ for a contribution from the government towards your fundraising efforts. However, this is not an immediate or guaranteed income. Please help us to continue our efforts to raise funds through this scheme by asking your supporters to complete their details where eligible for gift aid. SSAFA makes an application for gift aid bi-annually and if accepted, we will receive an additional 25p for every £1 you raise which will then be added to your fundraising records on the SSAFA database.

** Matched Giving

**Matched Giving is a scheme whereby your employer may match whatever sum you raise (some companies may cap their contribution i.e. they will match your raised funds up to £500). Many organisations have adopted the scheme within their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitments, so the money will be ready and waiting to be donated as soon as you ask.
