Grab your capes – Superhero Day is on its way! We need YOU to join forces with Superheroes across the nation to support Special Olympics Ireland.

Happening throughout October, we at Special Olympics Ireland are encouraging everyone to dress up as their favourite Superhero, real or not, and help raise funds for our super athletes! Superhero Day is an easy but fun way for your little superheroes to support our little superheroes!

The funds raised from Superhero Day 2025 can help athletes like eight year old Ellen, pictured above, who is a member of our Young Athletes club in Donabate, Dublin. The Young Athletes programme specifically works with children from ages four to 12 to help them develop skills such as throwing, catching and kicking a ball, something that many of us take for granted. 

Sign up today to be a Superhero and before you know it…WHAM! - the superhero sidekicks from the Special Olympics Ireland team will be in contact with you to send out a Superhero fundraising support pack to make the day as fun-filled and easy-to-run as possible for you!
