We are looking to "Stride out the stigma!" on perinatal mental health this July, and raise much needed donations to help us raise awareness of the support available to those need hope, empathy and support.

We have various support services at PANDAS Foundation such as the free helpline, e-mail support and closed groups. And it is so important to raise awareness and ensure that everyone who needs to use the services know that they are available. And help enable people to be able to utalise and reach out to any of those services.

Just £50 helps keep the email, closed group services for all administration. The below testimonials are from e-mail support service users

Please choose a distance of your choice of either 5k, 10k or 20k and either run or walk this over the month or a set day within July. If we all show our solidarity and strength, we can help make such a difference to those who are struggling. Thank you.

Signing up

To sign up, just click on the 'Register' button on this page, and you'll be taken through the process to register for the event and set up your fundraising page. The target is to complete 25 or 50 miles, but you can change your target when you set your page up if you feel either of these distances is not for you.

Logging your activities

The simplest way to track your progress is to sync with your Strava account, which you'll have the option to do when you sign up. Once you've completed this step, you need to record your walks and runs that you complete throughout the month. These will then automatically be added to your fundraising page.

Alternatively, you can simply click the 'Add an activity' button below your distance target on your page, and enter the details manually.

Share your fundraising page

Once you've registered, you'll be sent an email with the link to your own personal fundraising page. You can send that link out to friends and family, and there is also a tool on your page that will let you share your page or activities directly to social media.

Want to join or create a team?

You can join up with friends or colleagues to see how much you can raise together, or compete against other teams to see who can raise the most! When you register, you'll have the option to create a team, or find one that's already up and running, and you can join it. You can also do this later if you prefer. Once you've set up a team, you'll be given the opportunity to send an invite out to invite others to join you. You will all still individually have the same target in terms of distance throughout the month, but as a team you'll be able to see how much you've raised collectively.
