The annual Streets of Wicklow, sponsored by Burke Oil and organised by Inbhear Dee athletics club, has been taking place in Wicklow Town for over 10 years. This chipped timed race is a great family event with a cash prize and perpetual cup for the fastest family across the line - 2 parents & 2 kids to score. It is also a fast 5km, with cash prizes for the first 5 men and women and a €100 bonus for any man or woman who breaks the course record. Prizes will be given for each category. For the very young there is a 1 mile race at 10:30, entry is €3 on the day.
So why not join us on St. Stephens day to run off that turkey and support Inbhear Dee athletics club, which has been coaching athletics in Wicklow Town for over 35 years.
Entries will be taken on the day €20 for adult, €10 juvenile and €65 for a family.
