Step Your Way to 100KM: Every Step Matters
This April, we invite you to take on a challenge that’s simple, powerful, and full of heart: Step Your Way to 100KM in 30 Days for The Friends of St Luke's Cancer Care.
Step Your Way to 100KM: Every Step Matters
This year, we invite you to take on a challenge that’s simple, powerful, and full of heart: Step Your Way to 100KM in 30 Days.
At first glance, 100 kilometres might seem like a big number. But when you break it down, it becomes something beautifully achievable - a few steps in the morning, a walk at lunchtime, an evening stroll with family or friends. Step by step, day by day, those small moments add up to something extraordinary.
And that’s exactly what this challenge is about.
Every step you take represents hope.
Hope for patients facing cancer.
Hope for families supporting someone they love.
Hope for better care, comfort, and community when it’s needed most.
Throughout this year, our supporters will be walking parks and paths, city streets and country roads, beaches, treadmills, and hospital corridors. Some will walk alone to reflect. Others will walk together, sharing laughter and encouragement along the way. No matter where the steps happen, they all move us in the same direction - toward stronger cancer care and support for those who need it most.
You don’t need to be an athlete.
You don’t need special equipment.
All you need is the willingness to start.
Because when we walk together with purpose, something incredible happens: those steps turn into impact. They help provide care, comfort, and compassion for people navigating some of life’s most difficult moments.
So this year, lace up your shoes and join us.
Walk before work. Walk with your dog. Walk with your children. Walk with a friend who needs a chat. Walk in memory of someone you love, or in support of someone still fighting.
However you take your steps, know this:
Every kilometre brings hope.
Every step shows support.
And together, we can go the distance.
Let’s step forward this year — and make every step count.
