Register to complete the Jurassic Coast 98 mile virtual challenge!

Step Up September is a challenge that gives everyone the chance to come together virtually, to raise money and help end the need for food banks in the UK. The challenge can be completed in your own time and at your own pace.

The Jurassic Coast walk on the southwest coast of England is a real treat. A trek that takes you through thousands of years of history and to a time when dinosaurs roamed, hence the name, the Jurassic Coast!

Walk virtually from Orcombe Point in Exmouth, Devon, and continue for 98 miles to Old Harry Rocks near Swanage, Dorset, passing iconic towns, villages and natural landscapes. Plot your progress on our Jurassic virtual map and share your journey and story online with family, friends and colleagues. Share postcards of landmarks throughout your walk.

Register today for your challenge! Enjoy your walk and if you manage to raise £100 or above by the 7 October, you will get our beautiful Step Up September medal!

No one should be faced with the indignity of needing emergency food. Yet, between April 2020 and March 2021, food banks in the Trussell Trust’s network gave out more than 2.5m emergency food parcels. That’s a 33% increase compared to the previous year and the first time the number of food parcels distributed has topped 2 million. This is not right but we know that together we can build a better future.

Hunger in the UK isn’t about food, it’s about people not having enough money for the basics. When one person goes hungry, our whole society is weaker. We know change is possible. This is why your support is vital.

We support a nationwide network of food banks and together we provide emergency food; support to people locked in poverty and campaign for long-term change. PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to forward funds onto individual food banks. All funds raised here go direct to The Trussell Trust.
