What is StepTembear?

Steptembear is a virtual activity event hosted by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Family Support Trust (FST), registered charity no SCO 43924 

The event is open to participants of any age or any ability

The main aims of the event are activity, inclusivity and well being whilst also raising funds for our charity

Will you rise to our challenge?

We are challenging you to cover one of the following distances during the month of September

• 26 Miles (marathon)
• 50 Miles
• 100 Miles
• 200 + Miles (Ultra) New for 2021

You can choose to cover your miles by walking, running, cycling, swimming or any activity that suits your lifestyle. Or, how about a combination of activities, the more creative the better to clock up those miles

You can spread your miles over the course of the month, or, for a more ambitious challenge, why not complete them all in one day?   With these options we aim to be as inclusive as possible to all age groups and abilities.

As the event is virtual, you can also choose where you complete your challenge and who you complete it with.

Entry costs just £20 per adult and £10 for under 18's*.

*Medals are included with the entry fee, however if you opt not to receive one and donate that cost direct to the charity you shall not only help us to raise even more for our cause, you shall be contributing to a greener Scotland too

Fee breakdown:

Costs including medal – Medal = 32.4%, Post & packaging = 11.4%, event platform and credit card charges 5.4% + 95p per entry, FST receive 50.8% minus 95p = £9.20

Costs excluding medal - event platform and credit card charges 5.4% + 95p per entry, FST receive 94.6% minus 95p = £17.97
