Please join us for our inaugural virtual bridge tournament supporting the work of St John’s Hospice, in memory of Stephen Levinson

Penny Levinson on her beloved late husband: "When my husband Stephen and I played bridge together, the analytical mind and the sharp memory of the lawyer seemed to desert him when he was at the card table! Our post mortem over bridge hands would go on for hours. Stephen so valued the work of the hospice and would have been honoured to have this event in his name."

The event will take place on Thursday 3rd June 2021 between 2pm - 4pm. The tournament will be divided into two formats, a friendly duplicate group and a competitive duplicate group. These will run at the same time and will take place on the Bridge Base Online (BBO) platform.

Remember to provide your BBO username and the name and username of your partner. Please note that both of you will need to register through this platform. If you require a partner or if you have any questions please contact the team on [email protected]

If you would like to make an additional donation you can do so during the registration process. If you are unable to attend this event, please consider leaving a gift in Stephen’s memory by donating here: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/bridge-stephen-levinson

Our income has been greatly affected by the coronavirus pandemic due to the cancellation of in-person events, so every little bit you can spare will go towards supporting the 4,000 patients we care for each year and will ensure we can continue providing free care to those in need.

For alternative ways to register for this event, please contact Claudia at [email protected] or at 020 7806 4093.

We are also exicted to announce that Andrew and Lorna Robson are delighted to support the event in memory of Stephen and St John's Hospice. Each member of the winning couple will win a year's subscription to one channel of Andrew Robson's daily BridgeCast, a bridge hand a day discussed in a video posted by Andrew, fun, informative and full of tips on how to improve your Bridge.
