Join us on Saturday, 11th July for a fantastic day of competition, community, and fundraising at the Southey Bowling Club. All proceeds go to Railway Children to help support vulnerable children in the UK, India and Tanzania. Learn more about our work here.

Whether you're a seasoned bowler or a complete beginner, this is a brilliant opportunity to team up with friends, make new ones and enjoy a full day of activities, whilst supporting a vital cause.

Try a new sport, do some team building, make new friends! Together we can make a difference!

Event Highlights

  • Bowls Competition – Learn the basics, form your team, and compete for the Bowls Challenge Trophy, with a cash prize for the winning team.

  • Grand Raffle – Featuring exciting corporate prizes. Tickets will be sold onsite and via the clubhouse in the weeks leading up to the event.

  • Stalls – Enjoy a variety of attractions including a tombola, Freemasonry information stand, garden plants, and local business food stalls.

Food & Drink

  • Breakfast - breakfast rolls on arrival
  • Lunch - ploughmans lunch at midday

  • Dinner - BBQ served later in the day.
  • Tea and coffee available throughout the day, funded and sponsored by Project Leaders

  • Bar refreshments, with Southey Bowling Club generously donating a percentage of bar takings to Railway Children.
