Entry is free and includes a t-shirt, access to the Sofa to Summit Facebook Group, resources and more!

There is no minimum sponsorship requirement, but we ask that you try and raise as much as you are able to support our hospital. Fundraisers who raise £100 or more will also receive an exclusive Everest Expedition patch when the challenge has ended.

This event is open to everyone (no age restrictions) and teams are welcome.

You can complete the equivalent of the height of Everest (8,848m) in any way you like. Please keep yourself safe and follow the latest UK Government advice: www.gov.uk/coronavirus 

Please set your activity target to 8,848km. Your activity totaliser will show as kilometres (km) instead of metres (m) - this is because metres as a unit of measurement isn't supported on my fundraising page platform. Please log the 8,848 metres you climb to reach the summit of Everest, like for like as kilometres.
