ABF The Soldiers’ Charity is the national charity of the British Army, providing a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans and their families when they are in need. We are a grant-making charity, supporting 70,000 people in around 60 countries each year. We do this by awarding grants to individuals and families, and providing essential funding to around 90 charities and organisations that support the Army family. When we hear of a person or family in need, we aim to respond within 48 hours. If you would like to make a donation we would be extremely grateful.

Why not jump for charity while doing something incredible, all while supporting the Army’s national charity. Tandem skydiving is the easiest and most hassle-free way to make your first parachute jump. You will be in a dual harness, securely attached to your instructor who will give you a taste of what skydiving is all about. You’ll experience the amazing thrill of free-falling from 12,000 ft and enjoy a long parachute descent.

All the staff are professional and friendly and their aeroplane is modern, fast and specifically made for skydiving. With spectacular views across the Lake District, Lake Windermere and Morecambe Bay, Skydive Northwest is one of the most picturesque skydive centres in the world.
