Dr. Ruan O'Donnell is a lecturer in the University of Limerick. His research interests include the history of Irish republicanism worldwide, including the United Irishmen and the Irish Republican Army. In 2019, O'Donnell wrote an introduction for The Invincibles: The Phoenix Park Assassinations and the Conspiracy that Shook an Empire and in 2016 his book 16 Lives: Patrick Pearse was published.
