The aim of this training is to give professionals the knowledge and tools to ensure that they are working safely and effectively in sexual health promotion. Sexual heath promotion encompasses a range of topics within the broad area of sexuality wellbeing. This includes but is not limited to relationships, sexual activity, gender, gender identity and sexual orientation.
To maximise the learning from this training it is important that participants have some prior knowledge and experience of addressing the sexual health needs of their service users. We recommend that those interested in this training consider completing the Foundation Programme in Sexual Health Promotion before attending the policy training.
