Sensory processing differences are a common trait of autism spectrum conditions. Because of the autistim spectrum wiring of an individual's brain, sensory stimuli can be processed in a different way, making the world around them overwhelming and unpredictable. Such differences can have a severe impact on the child’s or young adults anxiety, learning, engagement and well-being.

We are running two sessions that aim to provide parents and carers of children and young adults with autism spectrum conditions with a better understanding of how such differences can impact the individual, as well as some strategies and resources that can be used to help the child manage the environment around them.

The session will include:

  • Sensory processing
  • Sensory processing differences and autism
  • Helpful tips and strategies

Please sign up for the workshop on either 30th September, 10.30am-12.30pm or 9th December, 10.30am-12.30pm.
