Individuals taking part in this event are responsible for confirming their fitness to take part in it by agreeing to this disclaimer below.

Anyone unsure of their physical ability to take part must therefore seek medical advice from a general practitioner prior to the event.

Notwithstanding the above, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust reserves the right to refuse entry to an event, with no refund provided, if for whatever reason our medical professionals consider a person unfit to take part. We may also ask you to withdraw during an event if medical professionals have concerns about your ability to complete it due to fitness, injury or otherwise.

If you choose to continue you do so with the understanding that you are no longer considered a participant of the event and that you absolve us of all and any responsibility, and progress entirely at your own risk.

I understand that this event is a physical challenge and that I am responsible for ensuring I am sufficiently fit and healthy to safely participate in the event. I agree to be treated by the medical staff event should a medical situation occur

Fundraising T&C's

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust has invested heavily in this event; by accepting this offer of a place you are agreeing to raise money solely for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, and will not share any sponsorship or other funds raised from your efforts with another charity or charities.

Your declaration to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust: I agree to adhere to at least the recommended fundraising target as stated in the event description and I will ensure all funds are sent to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust no later than 6 weeks after the event.

Photography at every event - By taking part in this event you grant the event organisers full rights to use the images resulting from any photography/video filming taken, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the Cystic Fibrosis Trust's aims.

This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications. If you do not wish to be photographed please inform a member of the events team on the day or by emailing [email protected] in advance.

Age restrictions

Events are subject to various age restrictions (these are stated on our website and at the time of booking), which relate to the age of the participant on the day of the relevant event. Participants must be able to provide proof of age on the day.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to an event, with no refund, to any participant who is under age, or is unable to provide proof of age when requested to do so by an event official.

What do I need to consent to?

We need your permission to email you about our work or send anything via SMS. Anything that tells you about the work of the Trust is deemed under GDPR to be marketing communications. This could include information on how your support is changing lives, opportunities to join a petition or details of fundraising activities.
