SCAA Stadium Takeover - Community Event
Saturday, 16 May 2026, 09:00
You’re invited to a fun-filled experience at Murrayfield Stadium to find out more about Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance.
Come and join us on Saturday 16 May as SCAA takes over Murrayfield Stadium. While hundreds of people will be abseiling from the stadium roof or taking on a stair climb challenge around the stands we are opening up the day for more of our amazing supporters to come along too*.
On arrival you will be led into Murrayfield stadium in small groups by a SCAA volunteer where you’ll walk pitch-side to see all the activity taking place. You’ll then head out of the stadium where one of SCAA’s air ambulance helicopters will be positioned for a unique opportunity to see it up close along with the kit and equipment that’s used to save lives across Scotland.
Volunteers and staff will be on hand to explain more about the helicopter and crew, the missions they undertake and how it really is all of you who keep them flying 365 days a year.
As part of a lively funday atmosphere, there’ll also be craft stalls, bouncy castles, food and more - making this the perfect outing for families, aviation enthusiasts, and anyone curious about SCAA’s work.
Numbers are limited and will be restricted to specific entry times so reserve your FREE ticket now – we look forward to seeing you on 16th May!
*no abseiling or stair climbing required, unless you would like to and, in that case, use this link to register!
