Aspens Festive FUNdraiser – Ro Ho Ho for Roebuck

 

We are thrilled to announce that this year our Festive FUNdraiser will be in aid of expanding our Roebuck Day Opportunities Centre in Hastings.

Roebuck provides engaging creative, sociable and educational sessions for autistic people at its vibrant centre based in the heart of Hastings. Offering sessions in graphic design and animation, jewellery making, ceramics, crafts, catering and music and drama, the focus is on enhancing life skills and fostering the personal development of the people who attend. 

Roebuck has incredible links with the community, and many of the items made at the Centre are sold in museums, tea-shops and visitor centres around Hastings, giving those that attend the opportunity to experience being part of a social enterprise and to integrate with the community. 

However, the vital connection, support and creativity that Roebuck provides to people is currently limited due to space and resources.

We would like to expand the Centre with a new building and facilities, which would enable the team at Roebuck to provide support to more autistic people.

 To help us do this we would like to raise £20k

On the evening of 30th November, Robbie, our brave CEO, will be taking up another personal challenge – by sleeping out under the stars for the night!
