Now in its third year, Blesma is excited to once again invite you to join us for the Remembrance 11k.

On Sunday 13 November, run to remember and raise vital funds for our Limbless and Injured Veterans. Join the virtual start line at 9am on Remembrance Sunday, take part in our nationwide warm up and complete 11k in time for the two-minute silence.

This year, you can complete the 11k your way by choosing from our new flexible entry options.

Wherever you are, whatever you choose, help us to mark the two-minute silence at 11am on Sunday 13th November, as we remember those who have served and sacrificed.

How to take part

Simply click on the register button at the bottom of the page.  When you sign up you can select one of the following 11k options:

  1. Three-day 11k - Split your 11k over three days from Armistice Day to Remembrance Sunday (Friday 11 – Sunday 13 November).
  2. Classic 11K - Join the virtual start line at 9am on Sunday 13 November, complete your 11k by 11am in time for the two minute silence.
  3. The Triple 11k - Complete an 11k every day for three days, from Armistice Day to Remembrance Sunday. Symbolising the 11th hour of 11th day of 11th (Friday 11 – Sunday 13 November)

All participants will be invited to join our virtual start line and warm-up at 9am on Remembrance Sunday 13 November.

Once you are registered you will receive a fundraising pack which will include our special 90th anniversary Blesma t-shirt. You will also be able to join our Remembrance 11k Facebook Community Group, to support your fellow runners!

Track your 11K

The easiest way to track your distance is to link your Strava account to your registration (you will have this option when you sign up). If you don't already have Strava, it is free to download from the Apple or Android app store. You can also use other step counters or tracking devices.

Once you’ve completed your distance and sent us verification, you will receive a special finisher’s pack including a Remembrance 11k medal with a limited edition 90th anniversary lanyard.

Fees & Fundraising

The registration fee is £25.  There is no fundraising expectation, but if you would like to raise funds to support our injured veterans, we suggest aiming for £100.

How raising money can help

£25 could help pay for a weekend away enabling an injured veteran to spend quality time with their loved ones

£100 could help pay for home adaptations to enable an injured veteran to live more independently

£200 could help pay for a good quality, lightweight wheelchair enabling an injured veteran to get out and about more easily.
