Join the Reindeer Run for Hospiscare!

Welcome to Hospiscare’s Reindeer Run, a fantastic event that brings together students, teachers, and families to support your local hospice. Get ready to dash, prance, and make a difference in your local community.

Location: Your school, group, pre school or nursery

About the challenge:

By taking part in this challenge, you will not only enjoy a fun-filled day of physical activity but also help to provide essential care and support to local people facing life-limiting illnesses.

Your Reindeer Run pack: You will receive free a pack filled with make your own antlers, stickers, games, activities, letter templates for parents, colouring in cards and even lesson plans for teachers.

Set Your Fundraising Goal: Encourage your friends and family to sponsor your run and help you reach your fundraising target. We recommend a donation of £2 per child and everyone will receive a coin collection card to take home.

Get ready to run: On the day of the event, gather together with your festive reindeer gear and school spirit. You can run, walk or skip whatever distance you choose but most importantly have lots of fun.

Celebrate and share: After completing your run, celebrate your achievement! All schools and groups will receive a thank you certificate and a Reindeer Run badge for every child. Along with a thank you video to share in assembly.

Reindeer Run terms and conditions

Event Details:

The "School Reindeer Run" event is organised by [School Name], hereinafter referred to as "Organiser." The event will take place on a date and time of your choosing. By participating in the event and sending in donations to Hospiscare, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

Registration:

Participation in the event is open to schools, nurseries and groups.

Participants must register online before the event date.

The Organiser reserves the right to close registrations early or limit the number of participants.

Health and Safety:

Participants are responsible for ensuring their own physical fitness and medical condition to participate in the event.

Participants should consult a medical professional if they have any pre-existing health conditions that might be affected by participation.

The Organiser is not liable for any injuries or health issues that may arise during the event.

Event Rules:

All participants must follow the designated route and course instructions provided by the Organiser.

Participants must display good sportsmanship and respect fellow participants, volunteers, and event staff.

Participants must wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

Donations to Hospiscare:

The "Reindeer Run" event is a fundraising event, and participants are encouraged to collect donations to support Hospiscare's charitable activities.

Donations can be collected from friends, family, colleagues, and sponsors.

Participants are responsible for submitting collected donations to the Organiser by 31st January 2024.

Donations should be submitted through the designated donation collection method provided by the Organiser.

Event Cancellation:

The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule the event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to inclement weather or safety concerns.

Liability:

Participants acknowledge that participating in the event involves inherent risks and agree to waive any claims against the Organiser, sponsors, and partners for any injury, loss, or damage.

Participants under the age of 18 must have their legal guardian's consent to participate.

Changes to Terms:

The Organiser reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions without prior notice.

By registering for the "Reindeer Run" event and sending in donations to Hospiscare, participants acknowledge that they have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to abide by them.
