Join us for some festive fun at The Bridges Shopping Centre on Sunday 1st December 2024 for a unique 1Km indoor family fun run to fundraise for Rudolf's favourite charity Red Sky Foundation.  

Children's entry (12 and under) to the event costs £7 which includes a FREE reindeer nose and FREE antlers, plus a fantastic reindeer medal and FREE entry to meet Santa The Bridges Grotto from 11am.

And for all you adults young at heart... you can join the fun too. Enter the run for £8.50 and get your hoofs on a reindeer nose and antlers, whilst knowing your donation will help us raise as much money as possible for charity.

(Any child 5 or under must be accompanied by a paying adult on the course)

Are there minimum requirements to enter the event?

You must register all participants for the Reindeer Dash in advance - before Saturday 30th November 2024, as no tickets can be purchased on the day. There are no minimum age requirements but any child 5 or under must be accompanied by a paying adult on the race course.

What can I bring to the event?

Pushchairs can be brought to the event but will not be allowed on the race course due to health and safety reasons. Wheelchairs are permitted on the race course. Event organisers can take no responsibility for personal items left during the duration of the event.

What's the refund policy?

Your Red Sky Reindeer Dash tickets are non-refundable or transferable. Should the Event be cancelled due to an event beyond the reasonable control of the organisers, including but not limited to: severe weather, terrorism, closure of the area by emergency services, medical advice or a pandemic you will not be entitled to a refund of the entry fee.

How do I fundraise for Red Sky Foundation?

To help babies and children with poorly hearts this Christmas, every entry will receive a digital fundraising link to raise vital funds to help little hearts and their families.

The RED SKY REINDEER DASH 2024
By participating in the Red Sky Reindeer Dash 2024 you have read and agree to the requirements set out in all promotional materials, relevant third-party provider terms and conditions and Red Sky  Foundation Terms and Conditions of entry as set out below.

These Terms and Conditions.

1.1 These terms and conditions (which we will refer to as our "General Terms") are the overarching general terms and conditions of entry that apply to all events organised and promoted by Red Sky Foundation.

1.2 Red Sky Foundation may change these General Terms at any time. You should check our website regularly for any changes which will apply from the date that they are uploaded.

1.3 By entering The Red Sky Reindeer Dash 2024 you agree that you will be legally bound by these General Terms and the terms of any third-party provider.

Terms and Conditions of Entry
• On registration participants confirm that they are sufficiently fit and able to take part. If you have any doubts, please refer to your GP before registering.

• Any child 5 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult over 21 on the course. The organisers, Red Sky Foundation reserve the right to prohibit individuals from taking part.

• Participants must follow the instructions of the organisers, volunteer marshals or their appointed agents at all times, this includes event signage, symbols and maps.

• Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or any other substances.
• On registering for the event, you agree to do so at your own risk.  Red Sky Foundation does not accept liability for any injury to person as a result of participation in this event (except where Red Sky Foundation is responsible for such injury to person).

• In the spirit of Christmas, participants are encouraged to wear their provided reindeer ears and nose during the event. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure any other fancy dress is suitable and safe for participation.

• Replacement accessories will not be provided should the participant misplace their own.

• Baby joggers and strollers are not permitted on the course. Wheelchairs and required carer are exempt – however, participants must begin the event during the official recognised starting times and in the interest of safety should start from the back of the group.

• Participants agree to the Terms and Conditions of the venue in addition to those of the event.

• Fundraising for this event will not be restricted to a particular child or function.

• Valuables and personal property brought to the event is at your own risk, Red Sky Foundation and The Bridges Sunderland accepts no responsibility for loss or damage.

2.  These General Terms shall be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Cancellation Policy#

• Red Sky Foundation reserve the right to cancel, postpone or change the format of the Red Sky Reindeer Dash event where this becomes necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. No refund will be issued in these circumstances. 

• No refunds can be given, including participants cancellation due to illness.

• By taking part on the day, participants give permission for any photographic image and videography to be used in further publicity of the event. You have the right to revoke this permission by seeing a member of the marketing team on the day.

• Red Sky Foundation, Sunderland BID and The Bridges will take reasonable care to ensure that the event is conducted in a safe manner. Liability cannot be accepted for any damage, injury or loss arising from the negligence of participants (whether through failure to observe the rules of the event or otherwise).

Disclaimer
I am a Participant and acknowledge that by participating in the event, I agree to the stated terms below and the conditions, which include details of my cancellation rights. I also understand that I am entering in to a contract with the Event organiser.

I hereby agree that any participation by me in the event is solely and entirely at my own risk and (to the extent permitted by law) no person(s) or organisation(s) shall be liable for any accident, harm, injury, loss or damage to property, however so caused, arising out of or in connection with or, suffered during or as a result of, my participation in the Event, provided always that nothing shall exclude liability for death or personal injury caused directly by the negligence of the organiser or its employees.

Consent to medical assistance and/or medical care being given to me in the case of illness, injury or an emergency situation, should this occur during the event, such assistance to be given by the organiser, its employees, contractors or other trained personnel conducting the Event (which may include the use of anaesthetics).

Acknowledge and agree that: running is an endurance sport; I should only undertake such an activity to a level which reflects my level of fitness. I am responsible for monitoring my own physical condition prior to and during participation in the event.

I understand the importance, for safety reasons, of obeying the rules, guidelines and instructions given by the event organisers officials, stewards, nominated representatives and other authorised personnel and hereby agree to abide by the same and to behave responsibly at all times during the Event and be mindful of the impact of my actions on others;
Agree that my participation in the Event is for recreational and/or charity fundraising purposes only and I will not participate in the Event for any commercial or business purpose. I also hereby give my permission to pass details to Red Sky Foundation, Sunderland BID, Everyone Active and The Bridges to use names, quotes, video footage and photographic likeness for marketing and promotional purposes. If you do not wish for video or photographic footage to be captured, please notify a member of staff.
