A fast 10k in a great location by the Thames near Richmond. It's a great opportunity for a PB on the flat two-lap course run part on roads and part on the Thames Towpath.

A large portion of the race is run along the scenic riverside with the chance to enjoy the view of river, trees, Teddington Lock and Ham House.

In 2021 Ranelagh 10k is run in Support of Nick and Kathy Henry and Cancer Research UK.

Nick was diagnosed with Gall Bladder Cancer in June 2021 after finding a lump in his neck.
Gall Bladder Cancer is relatively rare, especially for men Nick’s age (47) as it is more common in women, and over 75’s. Just over 1000 people are diagnosed in the U.K. each year.

Nick and Kathy both found running in their forties, with Nick starting first and Kathy annoying the hell out of him for getting faster than him! They are both members of local running clubs (Richmond Running Club and Ranelagh Harriers) and regularly spotted at Old Deer Park parkrun.
When you register for the race you’ll be given the opportunity to add a donation to their campaign, please do so generously!
