RPAC is pleased to announce it will be staging a modified, chip-timed version of the Priory Relays at the private Mid Surrey Pony Club Field, Hurst Lane, Walton-on-the-Hill KT20 5BN by kind permission of the Mid Surrey Pony Club.

There will be separate relay races for Ladies and Men, each of 4 legs, governed by current Covid-19 regulations.

Covid-19 regulations for the race format allows a maximum of 15 minutes for completing the 1.5 miles, on an undulating and challenging course. You should not enter if you feel unable to achieve this.

Application is by 4-person team @ £30. When entering please list the 4 team members in the sequence they will be running each leg. Remember to distinguish multiple teams from the same club by entering a suffix “A”, “B” etc. There may be some flexibility for subsequently changing your original line-up.

Please ensure that each team member’s personal email is recorded since Covid-19 regulations require each entrant completes and returns a Health Questionnaire which RPAC will email them. Regrettably anyone who fails to return it will be debarred from participating.

In place of usual mass start there will be wave starts for first leg runners at pre-notified times with subsequent runners starting on a quasi-relay basis. Runners should depart from the race venue as soon as possible following completion of their leg.

There will be a number of Covid checks and regulations with which all runners, team managers and officials must comply.

Entries are restricted to 96 ladies’ teams for Saturday 14 November, and 124 men’s teams on Sunday 15 November.

Results will be made available as soon as practicable

Please refer to https://www.rpac.org.uk/rpac-races/priory-relays for full details. Race information will be emailed to each applicant to share with their team members in advance of the race weekend.

Entries will be online only with no entries on the day. Closing date Sunday 8 November
