"Good Old Fashioned Cross Country" - the Holly Run is an annual series of eight cross country races designed to suit all age groups for both club runners and recreational runners!
Due to popular demand we are offering men the option to run 4 miles and women the option to run 6 miles. There will be one single start combining both distances. Individual and team prizes will remain as before for the men over 6 miles and the women over 4 miles. We will in addition award gold, silver and bronze medals to the 1st three male 4 mile finishers and the first three female 6 mile finishers.
Traditionally held on a Sunday just before Christmas the Holly Run, now in its 37th year, is staged wholly within the scenic, undulating Priory Park, Reigate RH2 7RL. Up hills, down steep down hills (except U11 and U13), cambers, parkland, woodland and everything nature can throw at you; this good old fashioned cross country route is why runners come back to join us year after year!
All finishers receive a commemorative medal and there are special awards for age category winners and teams (see website for complete list).
The races are held under UKA rules (race permit 154:19)
