St Michael's Hospice is excited to launch our first ever gaming event, bringing together gaming enthusiasts from across the UK in a bid to level the playing field on the Quest to provide Care!

St. Michael’s Hospice summons heroes from every realm to join Quest for Care — a charity livestreaming gaming event where you choose your path.

Whether you play, stream, or fundraise, every action you take powers real‑world compassion.

All funds raised support the vital care our Hospice provides to patients and families across our community.

The Event

From 7th August to 9th August, we’re asking the public to come together and join our Quest for Care.

All you need to do is pick the game of your choice, and play it forward by inviting friends, family, colleagues and followers to watch along and join you in raising much needed funds.

Fundraising

It costs £6.35 to run all Hospice Patient services for 1 minute. We are asking you to raise just £190 which would fund Hospice patient services for half an hour! (Or reach £381 and this would pay for one hour!)

There are loads of creative ways to boost your fundraising efforts — here are a few to get you started:

• Viewer donations — Encourage your audience to contribute whatever they can throughout the stream. A running total or fun milestone rewards can keep the energy high.

• Tag‑team marathon — Partner up with a friend and tackle a full game within 24 hours. Share the challenge, share the chaos, and raise even more together.

• Extreme streams — Dress up in something outrageous, stream in character, or theme the entire session around your favourite game or fandom.

• Ultimate Forfeit -  Let your viewers (or even your family and friends) assign forfeits in exchange for donations. Miss a level or lose a round, and you have to take on the dare.

• Chat‑Controlled Gameplay — Let viewers vote on your next move, weapon, route, or strategy. Majority rules, even if it ruins your run.
