Funds raised from this event will be donated to the Lord Mayor's Appeal 2024-2025. This year's appeal highlights the work of Abby's Heroes and Pompey in the Community.

Abby's Heroes is the Lord Mayor's of Portsmouth's charity 2024-2025. The charity was set up by Sally Randall 8 years ago in memory of her daughter Abby who was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer. It was set up with the aim to help and support children with cancer and their families.

Pompey in the Community is an award-winning charity that harnesses the motivational power of Portsmouth Football Club to promote education, healthy living, sporting participation and achievement among vulnerable and disadvantaged people of all ages. They work with 36,000 participants of all ages every year giving back nearly £10 million in social value to make a difference in the community.
