Where did you hear about the Paddock Wood half marathon?

Declaration

Please accept this entry for the Paddock Wood Half Marathon Road Race. I will be at least 17 years of age on race day and I confirm that I am medically fit to compete. I also declare that I have no medical disabilities that will endanger me or others participating in the event. I accept that I enter at my own risk and that the organisers and sponsors will in no way be held responsible for any personal injury, or loss or damage to property before, during or after the event. I understand and accept that the organisers reserve the right to cancel the race if adverse weather should make conditions too dangerous for competitors, or a serious incident occurs that prevents the race going ahead. In this event, there will be NO REFUNDS. I also accept that if I am entering this race on behalf of another person, I am authorised by them to accept these Terms and Conditions on their behalf. I will also take the responsibility to ensure that they are aware of any further information provided about this race e.g. confirmation and race information emails. An entrant shall be deemed to have made him/herself/their self, familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules. The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the [date of entry], whether or not the licence holder is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK. I also confirm that if I am under 18 years of age on race day, I have the permission of my parent or guardian to take part in this race and I have included their contact details below.

As well as the Paddock Wood Half Marathon's Terms and Conditions of entry, Sport Systems have their own Terms and Conditions of sale. At the end of the entry process, but before payment, you will be asked to accept these. So, if you have booked a holiday or have a significant family event like a birthday now is the time to check the dates as refunds will not be possible. (Injury and not being able to participate is regretfully part and parcel of being a runner.)

If the entrant is under 18 on race day then the parent/guardian details must be provided below.

Data Protection

The personal information gathered by Sport Systems when you place your order will be used for administering the event such as contacting you by phone or email to check details or correct a typo in an address. The users of this could be Sport Systems, the race organisers, or any appointed third party, such as an official photographer, or a different race timer. Certain details such as your name, event category and running club, but not contact data, may appear on various results websites, results emails, text messages and could even appear in newspapers. The race will be taking race photos and some of these may be published on the Paddock Wood AC website and Social Media Pages. By entering the race you are agreeing to this.

The Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance is the races official charity again this year- The Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance responds to an average of between 4 – 6 serious medical emergencies 365 days a year. Their specialist doctor and critical care paramedic bring advanced pre-hospital care to treat seriously ill and injured patients at the scene. The crew have the ability to provide a wide range of advanced medical procedures from anaesthesia and airway management to surgical intervention including open chest surgery and blood transfusions.
