Join Differences Not Disabilities for a supportive and practical 3-hour online workshop designed to help Parent Carers better understand challenging behaviour and feel more confident in responding to it.

📅 Date: Thursday 2nd July
Time: 10:00am – 1:30pm
📍 Location: Online via Zoom

This interactive session will explore how behaviour can be a form of communication, helping you identify possible triggers and learn strategies you can use at home to support positive outcomes for your child and family.

🌱 What you’ll gain:

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:

  • Recognise early signs of distress
  • Use preventative strategies to avoid escalation
  • Respond safely during challenging situations
  • Support emotional recovery and rebuild trust

The session includes real-life examples and group discussion, helping make the learning relatable and practical. It also aligns with the Restraint Reduction Network principles, promoting dignity, inclusion, and emotional wellbeing for neurodivergent individuals.

🧘‍♀️ The session includes two short comfort breaks to give you time to rest and recharge.

You’ll leave with increased confidence, practical tools, and resources to support you beyond the workshop.

💬 What others said:

“These guys are incredible. So empathetic, informed, patient and kind. They taught me so much in their autism behavioural course and also really helped my son and I personally on a particularly difficult day. I can’t recommend them enough. Hoping to get them into my son’s school to speak with parents, as I personally think everyone struggling with neurodivergence in any capacity could benefit from their help. Thank you so much Kurt and Michelle.”
